BEACON (Bollin Environmental Action and Conservation), is an exciting catchment based project hosted by the National Trust at Quarry Bank. Our vision is to have a catchment free of invasive species where our natural wildlife thrives. This will be achieved through surveys and monitoring, education, awareness raising, and local action.

About the role

As our Project Officer on the exciting and worthwhile BEACON project, your priority tasks over the first eight months will be to complete a project on rural pollution and water quality, and to deliver educational projects on invasive species and water quality with local schools and young people’s groups.
