Overview

The Internal Communications Coordinator is a member of CI’s three-person Internal Communications team as a part of the larger Brand and Communications division. S/he reports to the Director, Internal Communications. This position primarily supports the development and production of internal communications products, events and campaigns to advance CI’s mission. He or she continually applies knowledge and understanding of communications best practices to deliver news and information efficiently and effectively to our diverse global staff.

Working closely with CI’s Information Technology (IT) and Operations teams, as well as other teams within the Brand and Communications division, the position works to increase collaboration among staff and build CI’s internal community by leveraging systems and tools that promote information sharing. S/he will provide technical support on these systems and tools, as well as monitor and create content under the oversight of the other internal communications staff.

The coordinator will also support the regular exchange of information and best practices between CI’s communications staff in Arlington and its communicators and staff in country programs around the world.
