As a Biodiversity Ranger you will be joining our talented teams in carrying out critical natural heritage conservation work programmes across the country. Your day-to-day work will be focussed across Coastal Otago running terrestrial, biodiversity-based work programmes on and off public conservation land, according to work plans. This role is broad and project-based. You will have defined leadership responsibilities in planning and organising work programmes to work with others on managing a range of flora and fauna projects. These include:
  • animal and plant threatened species management
  • animal pest and weed control
