This intern will have the opportunity to be a part of an exciting and innovative education and interpretation team.The primary duties of this position are to assist rangers with long distance classes and support outreach and education efforts by the park. Education rangers conduct classes for approximately 3,000 students and teachers throughout the country through videoconferencing in January and February. Using greenscreen technology, rangers take students on virtual visits to Glacier Bay. This position would help with pre-visit mail outs, test connections, record keeping, and some program development and presenting. This person would also respond to student information requests by email and update the park website and social media feeds. Glacier Bay National Park has a vast image library
