Teach elementary students the science of Utah’s canyon county in a natural setting. You will assist the education specialist in implementing curriculum-based programs for elementary students. You will instruct at a variety of locations in Canyonlands National Park, Hovenweep & Natural Bridges National Monumenta and surrounding public lands, and at local schools. You will also have the opportunity to rove busy park trails and interact with junior rangers at the park visitor center. In addition, interns may work with other divisions on an as-needed basis. This internship is a cooperative venture between the National Park Service division of education and interpretation.
