Under the overall supervision of the PACO Regional Forest Program Coordinator for West and Central Africa, the Project Officer will have the following specific responsibilities:

• Assume overall responsibility for facilitating the timely and quality delivery of national and sub-national assessments of restoration potential (and any directly related elements of analytical work) in close collaboration with colleagues and implementing partners in focal PACO countries;

• Provide quality assurance in terms of the strategic direction, intended outputs and deliverables, membership and skills profile of multidisciplinary teams tasked with assessing forest landscape restoration opportunities at the national and sub-national levels
