POSITION SUMMARY

The Forests and Climate Policy Associate will support the International Climate Policy and International Government Relations (IGR) teams to mobilize and shape new funding sources and frameworks for REDD+ in Europe, the U.S., Asia Pacific and Latin American countries.

This is a full-time position with an end date of Dec. 31st 2015.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Forests and Climate Policy Associate will provide general support to the Climate Policy team on REDD+ and climate policy issues. S/he will develop multi-country dialogues on REDD+ finance and benefit sharing mechanisms and will be responsible for creating a set of comparative analyses for enhancing knowledge sharing.
