The chosen applicant will serve as the site steward for a 70 acre area of Saratoga Spa State Park, located in Saratoga Springs, New York. This area is a popular area of the park for passive recreation and also contains approximately 25 acres of habitat for the federally endangered Karner blue butterfly and other state-listed threatened butterfly species. The Site Steward will act as the primary contact and field staff for Karner blue butterfly monitoring and restoration field work as well as patron relations at the site.
