This is a great time to join our team in this new role - one of our strategic priorities is to strengthen wildlife corridors in the National Park and  we have identified key areas where the landscape could be improved to make it more wildlife friendly. This might be via planting trees and hedgerow corridors, creating species-rich grassland to link up fragmented, isolated patches of habitat. We need somebody who is experienced, practical and well organised to deliver this work. You’ll be a lead part of the agri-environment delivery team, working with other specialists to identify the right places for priority habitats. You’ll be negotiating with farmers and land owners to encourage and assist them to establish these habitats and to manage their land in a way that improves condition
