This is an interesting and varied role, with continuous involvement from concept to completion with regards to bats, mammals, birds, plants and aquatic species. We are looking for an Ornithologist with the following attributes: • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject; • Experience of applying ecological principles to a range of projects and working knowledge of ornithological surveying and reporting; • Competence in survey and mitigation for protected species; • Experience of producing environmental impact assessment reports or their equivalent; • Reasonable knowledge of environmental law; • Competency with standard MS Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (GIS skills desirable).
