The Outreach Program Instructor is responsible for developing and implementing meaningful and effective programs to develop ocean literacy in youth, and to foster their interest in and awareness about the study of marine science and related careers. It will also facilitate the professional development of educators around marine- and STEM-related knowledge and skills.

The Marine Science Center Outreach Program serves thousands of youth and educators each year through the delivery of place-based education programs that focus particularly on local coastal and marine ecosystems.
