An exciting opportunity has arisen to support both the Parks and Countryside Service and Planning Service deliver and improve new and existing SANG sites (Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace) and is fundamental to the delivery of a new local plan and development in the borough of Guildford.

The delivery of SANGs is essential to the Councils sustainability agenda to protect the Thames Basin Heaths and associated protected European sites. This is an exciting period in Guildford Borough Council’s history with the opportunity to create and implement natural landscapes for public access.
