With the forthcoming election of a new government in Westminster, this is a critical time for the future of the planning system. You will develop RSPB planning policy positions and advocate them to decision-makers in order to influence national policies and to deliver against the RSPB's strategy to save nature. You will have good analytical, negotiation and communication skills as well as an understanding of biodiversity policy.
