The East-African office of TRAFFIC needs your expertise for the abatement of illegal trade of wildlife products. TRAFFIC was founded in 1976 by WWF and IUCN to analyse the trade of wildlife products and to promote relative protection measures. Against the background of raising figures related to poaching of “flagship species” such as elephants and rhinoceros and the increasing trade of ivory and rhino horn products TRAFFIC plans to intensify research activities and protection measures to diminish the actual negative trends. In addition, you will contribute to elaborate innovative concepts for improved stakeholder cooperation and campaigns against illegal wildlife trade
