We are looking for two Biodiversity Rangers to join our busy Conservation Services team based in Motueka.

The focus of these positions is to carry out predator control in the Abel Tasman National Park as part of Project Janszoon as well as other biodiversity related work.  In these roles, you will be focussed on predator control but will be actively working across a range of different projects including animal pest monitoring, track infrastructure maintenance, beech mast prediction monitoring and ecosystem restoration.

To be successful in these roles you will have:

  • the ability to promote and maintain a co-operative team approach
  • proven back country experience, working/travelling alone off tracks in forested terrain
  • a knowledge of animal pest
