Practical reserve management to include habitat management involving the use of a range of hand held power tools (mainly chainsaw and brushcutter) maintenance of visitor facilities and footpaths, pest control and Fen restoration.
Routine patrolling of the reserves to minimise disturbance to breeding birds, other key wildlife and fragile habitats.

Enforce NWT rules and policies and notify reserve team of any serious infringements Assist with species protection works on the reserve.
Collect and maintain biological/environmental data as directed by the reserve staff. Ensure implementation of the Trust's Health & Safety policies

Help supervise other volunteers in the day to day running of the reserve
Promote the work of the Trust by recruiting new members
