Seascape Consultants Ltd seeks an enthusiastic and motivated marine data expert to contribute to research and analysis on the quality, availability and interoperability of marine data in Europe. This work will have particular focus on data requirements for marine spatial planning processes, but will also include a technical assessment of the data portals operated by the European Marine Observation and Data Network (EMODnet). The successful candidate will have first-hand experience in marine data management, with a sound technical knowledge of data infrastructures and platforms. Main duties will be:
  1. Contribute to a pan-European technical study on data requirements for the implementation of marine spatial planning, as part of the EU-funded Marine Spatial Planning Assistance
