POSITION SUMMARY The Nature Conservancy of New Jersey is working with partners to pilot living shoreline and salt marsh restoration techniques that are relatively new to New Jersey. The Coastal Restoration Technician will work with TNC staff to conduct maintenance on the living shoreline project, assist with monitoring of the salt marsh restoration project, and create maps and data products. Work will include long days in the field carrying and placing heavy materials over uneven, wet and muddy ground. In addition, office work will be required to arrange logistics and create data products and maps.
