Interns will collect data and other pertinent information utilizing Trimble Geo XT and Geo XH GPS units. Data collection will be on SMP permits such as mowing, trails, roads, private boat docks, and similar items. Interns will also download data into local computer systems, and assist in updating the Lake Texoma Shoreline Management Plan files, attribute tables and databases. This work will consist of extensive outside/field work and associated administrative or office work downloading information and updated databases, attribute tables, etc. Offer of AmeriCorps Education Award is dependent on avilability.
