POSITION SUMMARY In the Delaware River Basin and other high-value watersheds in the Mid-Atlantic region, development pressures from energy production and transmission pose risks to trout fisheries. TU's Mid-Atlantic Organizer will address these risks by helping lead campaigns to protect important coldwater habitats. The organizer will work with multiple stakeholders–in particular TU volunteers and other hunters and anglers, who are effective conservation advocates when mobilized and given opportunities to engage with decision-makers.
