You will assist the Resources Management and Science Division staff with implementing several revegetation projects around Yosemite Park. Typical tasks include salvaging native plants pre-construction, preparing planting beds, planting and maintaining installed plants, watering plantings, removing invasive plants, collecting seed for future propagation, cleaning seed and monitoring the conditions of revegetation project sites. You will usually work as part of a small team, and occasionally with a larger crew. The work will take place primarily in front country sites and along roadsides. The work will be varied, and mostly pleasant, but will include shifts of heavy lifting, bending, digging, which are sometimes tedious or repetitive.
