Our Masters in Physical and Forensic Anthropology is a prestigious and internationally recognized programme providing world-class training in the discipline. The masters was the first of its kind to be launched in Spain and remains the only programme encompassing the direct, novel and much sought-after practical application of forensic science.

The course has been bound to the UGR’s anthropology laboratory – an inter-Faculty and multidisciplinary initiative – since it was first set up in 1972. It is still the only programme in Spain that offers specialized training in the fundamental methodological aspects of research into human populations from the perspective of biological anthropology. The programme also enables students to become specialists in the field of forensic anthropology and identification.
