The Roundhouse Living Experiment is a nature restoration project founded by filmmaker, woodland conservationist and wilderness-skills instructor Julius Silvan. It aims to restore the Irish Atlantic Rainforest, working with Hometree, a leading Irish charity, and other local partners. The project Julius will be undertaking a living experiment in the Medieval roundhouse that he and his cousin, Dylan, built entirely with hand tools and natural materials, as seen on their YouTube channel, Smooth Gefixt. During the living experience, Julius will be living in the roundhouse, in a historical way without modern technology, for approximately two months.
