Life Net Nature seeks 6-8 volunteers to assist with wildlife monitoring and community-based conservation in Kenya. Volunteers work on the Siria Plateau over-looking the world famous Masai Mara. Volunteers assist Maasai conservationists and Life Net researchers, Dr. Dusti Becker and Bridget Gies on a unique effort to sustain Maasai culture, preserve grasslands and forests, and protect wildlife. Volunteers help monitor wildlife by counting mammals along transects and tallying birds in various habitats. Volunteers also assist with field research on Masai giraffe nursery groups, carnivores detected by camera trapping, and forest resources and corridors used by elephants.
