This project entails NPS Vegetation Program staff working for a period over 51 weeks to implement activities at the park’s native plant nursery.  The intern will carry out native plant propagation and care activities as directed by the park’s native plant nursery manager.  The intern will learn native plant production, plant care, and seed collection techniques, gain experience with high elevation desert restoration and horticulture techniques, help manage greenhouse, shadehouse, and outdoor facilities, assist with irrigation installation and maintenance, and participate in native plant research...
