The members’ time will be spent on a combination of environmental education and stewardship responsibilities. The Hudson River Park provides quality hands-on environmental education experiences to thousands of school groups (k – Grade 12), summer campers (toddlers – Grade 12), and park patrons.  The members will largely support the implementation of our robust environmental education programming during the summer season. In addition, stewardship responsibilities will include monitoring oyster cages, tree ecosystem services, caught fish, throughout the park, caring for collected specimens, horticulture activities, park beautification, volunteer events, and water quality testing.
