The Saint Louis Zoo is seeking an experienced keeper to join the Jungle of the Apes/Fragile Forest team. The current collection includes chimpanzees, orangutans, and a bachelor group of gorillas. Duties include required seasonal late night and event coverage, and keepers may also be cross-trained with smaller primates in the Primate House area.

Responsibilities: Keepers will perform a wide variety of specialized work including daily animal care, enrichment, behavioral training, animal observations, animal health care, documentation and record-keeping, minor exhibit maintenance, public presentations and tours, and other related duties as needed.
