National External Affairs Coordinator, located at NOAA’s Office of National Marine Sanctuaries

The National Marine Sanctuary Foundation’s external affairs coordinator will be responsible for implementing and communicating the Office of National Marine Sanctuaries’ (ONMS) Communications Plan and supporting related Communications and Stewardship Team efforts.  He/she will be the point person for all matters related to constituent affairs and act as a liaison for system-wide legislative affairs.

Implementation of the Communications Plan will involve liaising with relevant agencies, NGOs and the private sector, in addition to sanctuary sites to ensure that NMSF’s efforts to support National Marine Sanctuaries and the Office of National Marine Sanctuar
