ntern will work in the Royal Palm area of the Everglades National Park. The Royal Palm area is home to park headquarters and the main park visitor center. Intern will work with the Pine Island District Interpretive Team. This team is composed of a diverse group of individuals who operate and manage the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center, a variety of frontline interpretive programs, the park’s volunteer program, community outreach program, visual information program and a variety of social media outlets.

Intern will primarily staff the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center and lead 1 to 2 interpretive programs per day. Programs consist of short talks and 50 minute walks. Intern may also be asked to lead special walks for VIP groups. Other duties include updating the Park’s social media out
