The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham has over 500 acres of countryside, 8 Local Nature Reserves and 25 parks & open spaces - a variety of different landscapes types that are extensively used by many local residents. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Ranger to join our dynamic Parks & Countryside Ranger Service to manage and maintain the two Heritage Gardens located in Barking and Dagenham. As part of the wider Ranger Service, this role is involved in all aspects of their work including education and outreach, informal events and activities, recreation, visitor interaction, working with volunteers and horticulture management of the two spaces.
