Location: Lancashire We are looking for someone with a passion for wildlife and wetland conservation to manage our fantastic reserves on the UK's top estuary for birds. The post is expected to last for a year only, beginning in mid-March 2017, whilst our Warden is on maternity leave. This could be a secondment opportunity for an established staff member who is looking for a change of direction or a development opportunity for someone looking for a bigger challenge. RSPB established a reserve at Marshside in 1994 and later purchased Hesketh Out Marsh which is one of the largest 'managed reallignment' sites in the UK and due for completion in 2017.
