Length of Internship: April 30, 2018 to August 31, 2018 (approx.)
Compensation: Unpaid
Hours: 5 days per week, 40-44 hours, weekend shifts required
Location: Downsview Park, 60 Carl Hall Road, Unit 4
Reports To: Education and Outreach Manager
Position Summary:
This position is suited to someone seeking an introduction to the field of wildlife rehabilitation. In this unique and exciting role, you will have the opportunity to help sick, injured and orphaned wild animals in a variety of ways across departments at TWC. Splitting time between the hotline and outreach department and the wildlife rehabilitation department, you will gain insight into the operations of a wildlife centre and gain valuable experience in community relations and working with wildlife.
