While those with relevant skills and past experience are very helpful, it is volunteers with enthusiasm, a positive attitude, flexibility and a good work ethic who leave the biggest mark and get to go home with the greatest sense of achievement. We tailor your placement to your skills and experience, providing full on-the-job training, and we welcome volunteers from all nationalities and of all ages (over 18 years old). Most volunteers choose to focus on wildlife rescue/rehabilitation (which has the greatest demand for volunteers) at our world-renowned wildlife sanctuary, where work includes animal husbandry, orphan care, health checks, integrations and re-introductions.
