THE ROLE The Woodland Trust Campaigning function unites and enables the public to make a real difference for woods and trees through getting directly involved, - by helping to protect woodlands and trees which are at risk by helping to influence bigger public policy decisions through joining campaign actions and the growing Tree Charter movement. The Lead Campaigner will lead a small team of caseworkers and campaigners deploying both people power and the planning system to deliver the Trust’s ambition for no further loss of ancient woodland and ancient trees. Your approach will be evidence based, collegiate and UK-wide, ensuring ancient woodland protection is at the heart of national and local authority decision making.
