Description Field technicians needed in Alaska for shorebird and small mammal research The Alaska Department of Fish & Game is recruiting field technicians to help with two consecutive wildlife studies in Southcentral Alaska from 11 May – 31 August, 2020. The first is a study of Lesser Yellowlegs migration, survival, and genetics, and the second study investigates collared pika demography. The yellowlegs project will occur from May through June and will be based in Anchorage, and the pika project will take place from July through August, based in Palmer and at remote field sites.
