Swan Lake & Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary is pleased to offer a summer job opportunity to a youth (15- 30 years) with an interest in natural areas management, horticulture, conservation biology, geography, environmental studies or biology. The successful candidate will support our many programs including: ecological restoration projects, volunteer coordination, site maintenance, building maintenance, trails maintenance, weed control, occasional custodial tasks, and general labour including heavy lifting and carpentry. The main task will be the control of invasive species particularly English ivy, Himalayan blackberry, Daphne, Scotch broom, English hawthorn and Privet.
