Description: The Fairbanks Soil & Water Conservation District is an outreach and technical assistance organization whose mission is to serve its cooperators, private landowners, and all citizens of the district by promoting wise development and conservation of natural resources. The person who is selected for this position will be trained under the Natural Resources Specialist and will then be expected to transition into management of FSWCD’s agricultural and soils programs. These include a soil testing program, a cover crop variety trial research project, an agricultural/entomological demonstration project, and other soils and agricultural related projects.
