Junior Ecologist

Salary range: £21k –   £24k (depending on experience).

RHE is a well-established ecology consultancy with a strong reputation.

We have a small, friendly team and work on a wide variety of projects, predominantly around the northwest (not HS2) and across the UK.

We are recruiting Junior Ecologists to join our team based in Manchester city centre, both permanent and seasonal contracts are available.

The role includes:

• undertaking data searches
• assisting with/undertaking surveys (Phase 1 habitat surveys, bat surveys)
• managing data
• contributing to/drafting reports
• overnight stays may be required, depending on project requirements.

We are looking for motivated people with a keen interest and a good eye for detail.

Experience preferable, but not essential.

A driving license and use of a car are essential.

You will work alongside experienced ecologists on a wide range of projects.
