Welcome to the M.S. program in Earth and Environmental Sciences (MSEES). Here you will find information about the program and its options, admission requirements, degree requirements, and other information for potential applicants as well as current graduate students.
The MSEES program is hosted jointly by the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and the Department of Geological Sciences.CSUSB is changing from a quarter system to a semester system in Fall 2020. While we are waiting for final approval, we intend to elevate these two options to separate M.S. programs, which includes substantial changes to the degree structures. We will post that information as soon as final approval comes through.
Under the quarter system, the MSEES program has two degree options: The Professional Science Master’s (PSM) option and the Geology option.
