Duties

As a Wildlife Biologist your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
  • As Regional expert in waterfowl ecology, takes the lead for teams focused on regional waterfowl related issues including evaluation of habitat contributions and support of population objectives under NAWMP and communicating the importance of managing for wintering waterfowl within the Southeast Region in support of continental waterfowl populations.
  • Utilizes the strategic habitat conservation framework to conduct technical assessments and recommends management and conservation actions on Refuges consistent with current understanding of waterfowl population ecology.
  • Prepares reports, scientific manuscripts,
