The African Climate and Development Initiative (ACDI) wishes to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (PDRF) to act as Chapter Scientist for IPCC AR6 Chapter 9: Africa Climate Change Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is the UN-appointed scientific body responsible for assessing the risks from climate change, including risk management solutions. IPCC assessments underpin intergovernmental climate change negotiations at the United Nations (under the UNFCCC), and provide the scientific basis for governments at all levels to develop climate-related policies.
