The successful applicant will have practical estate management experience, to include felling and chainsaw use with relevant certification, experience of working with livestock and should enjoy working with and leading conservation volunteers. The role will appeal to those wishing to develop their skills in supporting volunteers and trainees, task planning and working with livestock. There are a wide variety of habitats on our Berkshire reserves including lowland heath, reedbed, fen, species-rich hay meadow, broadleaved woodland, calcareous grassland and farmland and there will be ample opportunity in the role to hone species identification skills and undertake surveys.
