To support the creation and monitoring of new woodland, and management of existing woodland within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, so as to help achieve the objectives set out in the National Park Management Plan and the Dales Woodland Strategy. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES New woodland creation To assist the Woodland Project Officers and Senior Trees & Woodland Officer in all aspects of implementing woodland creation schemes, including:
  • scoping woodland creation opportunities, conducting site surveys and supporting the development of high-quality woodland creation proposals;
