Job description Mount Gibson Wildlife Sanctuary Australian Wildlife Conservancy is a non-profit organisation dedicated to the conservation of Australia’s threatened wildlife and their habitats. AWC now owns and manages more land than any other private conservation organisation in Australia - 29 properties, covering more than 6.3 million hectares - protecting more than 1,200 fauna species through active land management informed by strategic scientific research. Four of these sanctuaries – Karakamia, Paruna, Faure Island and Mount Gibson – occur in southwestern Australia, an internationally recognised “biodiversity hotspot”.
