An internship at the National Eagle Center is a great opportunity to develop skills in naturalist interpretation, public speaking, nonprofits, and recreation and tourism.  We work to individualize the internship as much as possible by looking at each person’s prior experience, skillset and goals. Our staff will work with you to find the best fit. Avian Care Interns will learn what is required to care for our resident eagles and perform daily husbandry tasks. Daily husbandry includes cleaning the eagle enclosure, food preparation, perch maintenance, and enrichment for the resident eagles.
