Tree and Woodland Officer, Bath & North East Somerset Council 2-year fixed term post with possibility of extension subject to funding 0.6 FTE (22 hrs pw) Salary £30,507 - £32,878 pro rata (Grade 8) This new post is to develop and implement a collaborative Tree and Woodland Plan to deliver B&NES commitment to plant 100,000 trees by 2023. The work supports the council’s Climate Emergency declaration, Local Plan policy and wider aspirations set out in the B&NES Green Infrastructure Strategy. The Tree and Woodland Plan will set out the vision and objectives with targeted priorities and actions to increase tree and woodland cover taking account of current stock and condition including risk of loss of trees from disease e.g. Ash Die Back.
