Description The Information and Education Division of Baxter State Park is looking for motivated, mature, and creative applicants for Seasonal Interpretive Intern positions. Seasonal Interpretive Interns will gain experience and guidance in the development, design, and delivery of interpretive programs throughout Baxter State Park, including the summit of Katahdin, and in local communities. Baxter State Park has over 209,000 acres of mountainous wilderness and managed forest in northern Maine. It is home to Katahdin, the highest mountain in Maine. The park is one of the largest wilderness areas in the Eastern United States and has many rare plant and animal species.
