The School Programs Manager is part of the dedicated team of Birmingham Zoo education leaders committed to promoting the Zoo’s mission with a unified and consistent education and conservation message.  The School Programs Manager is responsible for ensuring that the operations of the Zoo’s education programs promote the Zoo mission and run in an efficient manner.  The School Programs Manager is responsible for administering, under the oversight of the Vice President of Education, all education programs and events relating to formal education institutions (public schools, independent schools and individuals who home school).  Also responsible for general departmental operations; supervise and evaluate staff; develop and monitor budgets.
