Borough of Poole is looking for an Environmental Engagement Officer to work in our Environmental Development team. This is an exciting role and there is a real opportunity to make your mark on how the Council engages with residents, visitors, business and the third sector on environmental issues including open spaces and waste management. The focus of the post will be setting up new approaches for community participation, volunteering and engagement. We’d like you to design and commission programmes to get our residents actively involved in helping us improve the quality of Poole’s open spaces and managing waste safely and sustainably. You will have experience of establishing volunteer programmes, working with a wide range of stakeholders and co-ordinating partnership projects. Y
