Serving as part of the California Sea Grant Science Integration Team, the Program Coordinator works to identify and address important issues surrounding climate change, such as assessing risks, vulnerability and needs, and implementing adaptation strategies. The incumbent links science to policy through engagement and interaction with coastal managers, research scientists, extension professionals, and stakeholders. The Program Coordinator facilitates, develops and/or conducts collaborative projects and programs in research, education, and outreach that address important knowledge gaps and inform solutions.
